Hi! I’m your admissions counselor, Marrissa. Here’s a little bit about me and what I enjoy most about UNH. I look forward to working with you!
Where is your favorite place on campus?
College Woods, our 260-acre parcel, has serene walking trails, places to hammock, and even a river to walk along. It is a place I love to go and relax after work.
What’s your favorite thing to eat on campus?
I love going to Union Court, located in the Memorial Union Building, because they have so many options. If I don't know what I want to eat, I stop in there, and usually something catches my eye!
Favorite memory at UNH?
I love seeing everyone come back to campus during move-in weekend.
What makes UNH so special?
The community that is created by being a UNH Wildcat is truly inspiring. Whether you are on campus with your friends, off campus in surrounding towns, or halfway across the world, you can always find connections back to UNH.
What’s your favorite UNH tradition?
Our school prides itself on tradition, and although I would love to say all of them, my favorite is the chalk toss at our home football games.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Wakefield, NH, and currently live there today!
What college did you attend/degree earned?
I attended Husson University and received my bachelor's in Exercise Science.
Family/pets?
I have an 8-year-old golden retriever named Remi, and he is the best travel buddy!
Do you have any hidden talents?
I love to sew and make Macrame plant holders.
Any fun facts about yourself?
I have the state of New Hampshire tattooed backwards on my ankle, and it was not done on purpose!
What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done in your life?
I flew to Las Vegas and visited the Grand Canyon. Definitely the most surreal experience so far!
