Hi! I’m your admissions counselor, Alexandra. Here’s a little bit about me and what I enjoy most about UNH. I look forward to working with you!
Where is your favorite place on campus?
The horse barns. I grew up with horses and love visiting.
What’s your favorite thing to eat on campus?
The stir fry in HoCo; I love being able to customize!
Favorite memory at UNH?
Senior year, my roommates and I made a bucket list that took us all over campus. We were able to do the things we always said we would get around to doing and explored areas of campus we wouldn’t have otherwise.
What makes UNH so special?
UNH has a little bit of everything for everyone. I know people on campus who grew up in small towns and big cities, some looking for agriculture and others for business. There are so many clubs to join and people to meet that there’s bound to be something to love.
What’s your favorite UNH tradition?
Hockey games. The student section is the place to be and the atmosphere is amazing. I also love when the fish is thrown into the opposing goalie’s net.
Where did you grow up?
Very small towns in Northern New Hampshire & Vermont. I graduated with less than 70 people in my class!
What college did you attend/degree earned?
BA Psychology with a minor in Justice Studies from UNH in 2016
MS Higher Education Administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I love to learn languages. I speak English, French and I’m learning Mandarin Chinese.
Any fun facts about yourself?
The farm I grew up on made maple syrup, had cows and ostriches!
What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done in your life?
I became the first in my family to not only earn a bachelor’s degree, but also a master’s while working full-time
